Refund Policy

1. Overview

Clip Badger uses a credit-based model. You purchase packs of processing hours as one-time purchases. There are no recurring subscriptions. Because Credits are digital goods that are consumed upon use, all sales are generally final.

We want you to be satisfied. If something goes wrong, contact us and we will work with you to make it right.

2. Unused Credits: General Policy

Purchased Credits do not expire as long as the Service remains active and your account is in good standing. If you have unused Credits and no longer wish to use the Service, we are unable to offer refunds for unused Credits except in the circumstances described below.

3. Account Deletion

If you voluntarily delete your account, any unused paid Credits are forfeited and are not eligible for a refund. You will be shown a clear warning before confirming account deletion. Free Credits have no monetary value and are not refunded under any circumstances.

If you are considering deleting your account due to a problem with the Service, please contact us first at support@clipbadger.com. We may be able to resolve the issue.

4. When We Will Issue a Refund

We will review refund requests in the following situations:

  • Technical failure. If a processing job failed due to a Service error and Credits were deducted, we will restore those Credits or issue a refund for the affected amount.
  • Accidental duplicate purchase. If you accidentally purchased the same pack twice within 24 hours, contact us and we will refund the duplicate.
  • Service discontinuation. If we permanently discontinue the Service, we will refund unused paid Credits on a pro-rata basis. See our Terms of Service for details.
  • Exceptional circumstances. We review requests on a case-by-case basis. If you have a compelling reason, reach out and we will do our best to help.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email us at support@clipbadger.com with the following:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of your purchase
  • Your transaction ID or receipt number (available from your Polar receipt email)
  • A brief explanation of your request

6. Refund Processing

Once we receive your request, we will review it and respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Polar, our payment provider, and typically appear on your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

7. Free Credits

Monthly free credits (promotional grants) have no monetary value and are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us directly. We are typically able to resolve issues faster than the chargeback process.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
